The SSM Health Medical Group - Behavioral Health inpatient program offers a wide range of therapeutic activities focused on increasing self-awareness and self-esteem. Therapies are insight-oriented and focused on problem identification and problem solving skills. The program offers a supportive, non-threatening environment devoted to enhancing interpersonal skills. Assertiveness training, leisure skill development, self-awareness, socialization, stress management, relaxation, structured physical activities and exercise are offered as therapeutic activity groups.
What to expect
Upon admission, our experienced staff want to get to know you. We will start out with a comprehensive assessment that includes:
- Physical exam
- Lab work
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Physical, psychological and social assessment
- Nutritional assessment
- Substance abuse evaluation
- Risk assessment
Once we have the information we need, we will begin to create a personalized treatment plan that will be most effective in meeting your needs.
